The Armenians only imagine that they have settled the Nagorno Karabakh
conflict, but they are mistaken, theAzerbaijani president has said.
Ilham Aliyev made the statement at a joint news conference organized
after his meeting with the Turkish prime minister, Recep Tayyip
Erdogan, the Azerbaijani news agency Salam News reported.
"The Nagorno Karabakh is an Azerbaijani land and will remain a part
of Azerbaijan. Some time in future Azerbaijan will reinstate power
over Karabakh," Aliyev was quoted as saying.
Addressing Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan recent statement at
a meeting with participants of a pan-Armenian Olympiad, he said,
"I could not have expected anything else of Sargsyan. I have had
several meetings with him. I am well aware of his mentality. As a
matter of fact he demonstrates the aggressive character of Armenia."
