TURKISH PM TO VISIT BAKU

The Turkish Prime Minister is planning a visit to Baku.
Citing the press service of the Turkish Government, the Azerbaijani
news agency APA reported that Recep Tayyip Erdogan will leave for
the Azerbaijani capital on Wednesday, July 27.
He is scheduled to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to
discuss issues relating to bilateral ties and regional developments.
The Azerbaijani media had earlier reported that the two countries are
expected to sign an agreement on natural gas transit. The discussions
will also focus on the possibility of lifting the bilateral visa
regime. Besides, the Strategic Cooperation Council will convene its
first session.
Erdogan was earlier reported to be planning his visit in August.
