Son Writes Book on Famous Composer Father Avet Terterian

Ruben Terterian, has written a book of conversations with his father,
the famous Armenian composer Avet Terterian.
Simply entitled "Avet Terterian: Conversations" the book includes
talks Ruben had with his father on a wide range of issues - childhood,
family and the music scene of the 2nd half of the 20th century.
There was a book reception in Yerevan on July 29, the birthday of the
composer who was born in 1929 in Baku.
Avet Terterian was awarded the prestigious Konrad Adenauer Prize and
composed eight symphonies and an opera during his lifetime.
The composer passed away in the Russian town of Yekaterinburg in 1994.
The town's music festival is named after him.
