Soviet football coach criticized scandalous reception of Armenian
football team in Russia

Former coach of Soviet national football team German Zonin called the
reception of Armenian football players in St Petersburg `disgraceful'.
`Yesterday Nikita Simonyan (First Deputy President of Russian Football
Union) told me that nobody met Armenian team at the airport and the
guys were allowed to passport control like ordinary passengers. What a
disgrace! Imagine, they did not give tickets to the veterans either!
That's not a way to treat us and the guest team!' said Zonin to
R-Sport agency.
