Ahead of Kazan meeting, Azerbaijan trying to gain advantage-spokesman
13:32 - 04.06.11
Armenian defense minister's press secretary has commented on
Azerbaijani media reports claiming that Armenian armed forces killed
an Azeri civilian on June 3.
The Karabakh army has already dismissed these reports, and if they
have any proof, they should present it to international bodies for an
investigation, the press secretary says in a written statement.
"I believe this campaign is aimed at gaining advantage ahead of the
meeting between the presidents, scheduled to be held in Kazan," the
statement says.
