Armenia, Russia to cooperate in space debris research

YEREVAN.- National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and Roskosmos, the
Russian Federal Space Agency, will sign an agreement to conduct space
debris research.
The document will be signed by the Armenian side in August, Hayk
Harutunyan, Director of the Byurakan Observatory told journalists on
Friday.
Director of the observatory also said they plan to begin work on
modernization of large telescopes of the Byurakan Observatory next
year.
About 2 million euros will be supposedly allocated to the project.
