AHMADINEJAD TO VISIT ARMENIA SOON FOR SURE: IRAN OFFICIAL SERVICE: FOREIGN POLICY

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast
said on Monday President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will surely visit Armenia
in near future.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran and Armenia enjoy friendly relations
and good neighborliness and authorities of the two countries are
continuously in contact," Mehmanparast said.
He added the trip of Iranian President will come in another time since
it takes more time to arrange and finalize the documents that are to
be signed during the trip between the two countries.
Ahmadinejad's travel was a follow-up to that of the Armenian President
to Tehran.
Iranian President who was to arrive in Armenia on Monday in a bid to
hold talks on mutual cooperation as well as regional and international
issues postponed his scheduled trip.
Ahmadinejad was officially invited by his Armenian counterpart Serzh
Sargsyan.
The exact date of his trip is still unclear.
Also Iranian embassy in Yerevan issued a statement on Sunday that
Ahmadinejad would have been accompanied by a high-profile economic
and political delegation during the one-day trip.
Ahmadinejad was to sign some economic agreements during the trip.
