HOVHANNISYAN REMINDS TER-PETROSSIAN OF ARFD FEATS IN KARABAKH WAR

Hovhannisyan responded to the statement of opposition Armenian National
Congress (ANC) leader delivered during May 31 rally at Liberty Square.
As Levon Ter-Petrossian claimed, during the Karabakh war years, ARFD
used everyday rallies to destabilize Armenia and break the morale of
the Armenian army.
"At the time, almost all ARFD representatives were at the front,
with every 1 in 8 ARFD members having perished in the war. That was
a mean statement to make," Hovhannisyan said.
"The picture becomes clearer if one recalls that Armenian forces kept
Shushi liberation secret from the Commander-in-Chief of the armed
forces (the President), " he said, reminding that ARFD was at the
outset of Armenian armed forces formation.
