YEREVAN, June 8. /ARKA/. Interstate cooperation between CIS countries
in the sphere of geodesy, cartography and cadastre will be expanded,
said Armenian Vice-Premier, Minister of Territorial Administration
Armen Gevorgyan.
"It is conditioned by further intensive development of economic
relations as on interstate level, as well as on the level of separate
market participants in CIS territory", he said during the 31st session
of interstate council on geodesy, cartography, cadastre and distance
zoning of the land of CIS countries.
Gevorgyan emphasized the necessity of closer interrelation in the
sphere of real estate cadastre with the purpose of unification
of cadastre data and creation of unified information resource on
information and data exchange of the real estate subject.
Such a development can serve a pre-condition for strengthening
cooperation in the sphere of real estate market, increase of investment
attraction of real estate markets of CIS participant-countries.
"I am confident that there are large prospects of mutually beneficial
cooperation and the necessity of further strengthening of relations
between all organizations submitted in this session", he said.
Head of State Real Estate cadastre Yervand Zakharyan said that

zoning development of Earth, as well as regular investments of new
information technologies, local development of these spheres is not
practically possible.

world information society is not possible to limit by state borders",
he said.
The first post-soviet years were not favorable for geodesy and
cartography in all the countries and the lack of proper financing and
breakdown of the formed professional relations could not influence
on the development of these spheres.
"However, we could maintain our professional potential in some way
which has been accumulated with joint efforts in our countries during
years", said Zakharyan.
The Head of Federal Service of registration of cadastre and cartography
of Russian federation (Rosreestr), Head of interstate council on
geodesy, cartography and distance zoning of Earth of CIS countries
Sergey Vasilyev clarified that the main goal of the given session
is not only to carry put decisions for future, but to discuss the
results of activities of the previous session which are summarized
twice a year.
"The most important thing is to maintain the total space", he said.
