Iranian president to arrive in Armenia when documents are ready -
media The visit by Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad to Armenia
has been postponed because Armenia has not prepared all necessary
documents, the Armenian media have reported.
"The president's visit to Armenia has been postponed because the
receiving party has not prepared the necessary documents that the
parties were expected to exchange," the Armenian media quoted Hasan
Salehi-Marami, deputy head of the presidential information and public
relations department.
Hasan Salehi-Marami also told the information agency Irna that
Ahmadinejad will visit Armenia as soon as the documents in question
are ready.
The Armenian presidential press service told Interfax the visit, which
was scheduled for Monday, has been postponed by a mutual decision
and will take place at a time more convenient to the parties, the
Armenian presidential press service said.
