Zhirayr Sefilyan is unaware of the political situation in Armenia,
hence he cannot make accurate forecasts, says the leader of the Social
Democrat Hnchak party, Lyudmila Sargsyan.
It comes after the coordinator of Sardarapat Movement and a commander
of a special battalion in Shoushi, Zhirayr Sefilyan said the current
dialogue between President Serzh Sargsyan and the leader of the
opposition Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan is being
brokered by someone.
"No one can dupe the ANC because it hasn't done anything worth of
such treatment. We perfectly realize the essence of this process,"
she said, disagreeing with Sefilyan's statement.
Sarsgyan doubted that the ANC's balanced and pro-government stance
might be the reason behind Sefilyan's dissatisfaction.
She further noted that a sensible response to the opposition's demands
is in the country's interests.
"Even if the authorities do not respond to their proposal, the people
will make their desire come true. The issue here is the sensible
approach of the authorities' sensibility," she said, considering the
change of regime a primary issue.
