The paper claims it has information that MP Hrant Madatyan of the
Prosperous Armenia party cautiously maintains close relations with
Jehovah's Witnesses in the town of Sevan.
This sect has thousands of members in Sevan and may play a vital role
in the upcoming elections, and Madatyan, who was elected from Sevan,
seems to be quite interested in this electorate, the paper says.
When contacted yesterday, Madatyan did not deny the fact; he only
said he maintains relations with all of his electorate, the paper said.
