ARAVOT: SHOULD I BE SUED FOR THIS OPINION?

An excerpt from the paper's editorial
In 1998, Paruyr Hahyrikyan, the leader of the Self-Determination Union,
was the then President Robert Kocharyan's advisor. I wrote that a
former dissident should not become a government official, and should
not work in the staff of a former Communist official. Mr. Hayrikyan
sued me and demanded I retract it. So I wrote:"A former dissident
should become a government official, and should work for a former
Communist official."
Now, let's talk about the image of a parliament member: do we need PMs
like Tigran Arzakantsyan? As my colleagues, I too believe that people
like him should not be in the parliament of the independent Republic
of Armenia. Let him work in the brandy business if that is what he
wants, let him gamble, if that is what he likes to do, let him give
away money to his fellow villagers - good for him. But individuals
with an intellect as his should not become parliament members.
Now, should I be sued for this opinion?
