VICE-PREMIER; ARMENIA HAS A PROPER AND EFFECTIVE CADASTRE SYSTEM

YEREVAN, June 8. /ARKA/. Armenia has a proper and rather effectively
functioning cadastre system, said Armenian Vice-Premier, Minister of
Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan.
"However, it is necessary to further develop the system for reformation
of cadastre system and registration of real estate", he said during
the 31st session of interstate council on geodesy, cartography,
cadastre and distance zoning of the land of CIS countries.
The main goal is the improvement of services rendered to population in
registration the real estate for the right of ownership, introduction
of new information technologies, quality increase, accessibility
and accuracy of cadastre information, as well as facilitation of
procedures of transactions with real estate and property circulation.
"Currently, the process of restructuring passes rather successful
which gives us hope that despite the large scale of upcoming works in
this direction, we can manage to fulfill all the envisaged concepts
of reforms and events in timely manner and on a proper level",
said Gevorgyan.
He expressed interest in learning the opinions of the participants
of Interstate Council about the reforms in the system of cadastre
in Armenia.
"I hope that exchange of opinions on this issue will be another chance
for us to comprehensively understand the started process", he said.
Representatives of authorized bodies of Armenia, Russia, Belarus,
Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan participated in
the activities of 31st session which will last to June 9. The agenda
of the session includes reports on geodesy and cartography of State
Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia. The project of electronic database
on renaming geographical names will also be presented at the session.
