(Noyan Tapan - 10.06.2011) According to the statement of Azerbaijan
analysts if the opposition and the government in Armenia have chosen
the way of solving the problems raised among them by negotiations and
not by violations, then a wave of violations and captions has begun
in Azerbaijan towards the opposition politicians, participants of
demonstrations and students.
"At the result if the progressive steps taken by Armenian president
Serzh Sargsyan the fact that Azerbaijan is a authoritarian state is
not only underlined before the international community, but also
the Azerbaijan side bears serious losses in the negotiations over
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," notes the Azerbaijan press media.
According to the analysts the Armenian side can blame the Azerbaijan
authorities on the following grounds: If you use such brutal methods
against your own people, carry out numerous unsubstantiated arrests
and even you are able to arrest a five-year girl for pronouncing
the words "Liberty", "Resignation" then how is it possible that you
are able to provide the security and inviolability of another ethnic
element, Armenians?
In fact, the inner policy by Azerbaijani authorities, according to
the Azerbaijan analysts, has a very negative effect on Azerbaijan's
international image. They point out that "Azerbaijan's rightful
demand is gradually receiving a non-legal nature due to the ruling
dictatorial regime in Azerbaijan, which may be best used by the
Armenian authorities to change the situation for their benefit in
the process of negotiations." Thus, the Azeri think that the results
of the campaign referring to the Kharabakh issue carried out by the
Azerbaijani authorities can be abolished because of their violent
policy. "So as Armenia has not achieved serious successes yet, it is
necessary to take urgent steps to solve inner political problems and
to make systematic reforms which will contribute to the strengthening
of Azerbaijan's position in the process of negotiations over Kharabakh
conflict," said Azerbaijan analysts.
