EUROPEAN COMMISSION TO CONTRIBUTE TO ARMENIA'S NUCLEAR SAFETY

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the June 10 sitting, the Armenian government
approved signing of a program with the European Commission on financing
Institutional Development of the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority
program.
Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan said the agreement will
allow increasing Armenia's opportunities in the nuclear field. The
program is estimated to cost 1mln euros.
Promotion of nuclear safety in post-Soviet countries as part of IAEA
relevant convention is among priorities of the European Union.
