AUTHORITIES TO SET UP RETAIL FAIRS FOR ARMENIAN FARMERS TO SELL THEIR PRODUCES

YEREVAN, June 10. / ARKA /. Yerevan authorities will set up retail
fairs for Armenian farmers to sell their agricultural produces,
a deputy minister of agriculture, Robert Makaryan, told a news
conference today.
He said retail fairs will be set up on Saturdays and Sundays.
According to him, farmers will sell their produces without middlemen.
"The priority task is to prevent price inflation by resellers,
" he said.
Makaryan said locations for three such retail fairs are being
chosen.
