PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER DIVINE LITURGY AT
ST. MARY'S CHURCH IN GLENDALE
According to the Armenian Church calendar, this Sunday, June 12th,
2011 is Pentecost.
On this day, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian will preside over
Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at St. Mary's Church in Glendale.
Members of Bible Study groups, led by Mr. Krikor Misserlian, will be
in attendance. The annual reception of the Bible Study groups will take
place following Divine Liturgy at the Church "Armenak Der Bedrossian" Hall
under the auspices of the Prelate. The Prelate will attend the reception and
deliver his message and blessings.
PRELATE AND EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEMBERS ATTEND
ARARAT HOME LUNCHEON
On Tuesday, June 7th, 2011, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian,
Prelate, and Executive Council members attended the monthly luncheon held at
Ararat Home in Mission Hills. This month's lunch was sponsored by the
Armenian Relief Society Regional Executive and Chapters, and a number of
individual sponsors.
The Prelate was accompanied by Rev. Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian,
Executive Council Chair Mrs. Rima Boghossian and members Mrs. Khatchig
Yeretzian and Mr. Kahren Beniasians.
The luncheon began with the blessing of the tables by the Prelate,
who also delivered his message on his occasion. The Prelate commended the
board and administration of Ararat Home for the services the care and
services they have been providing the elderly for over sixty years, and also
commended the A.R.S. and all the day's sponsors for their encouragements and
support of Ararat Home's mission.
PRELACY SCHOOLS' COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES
The commencement ceremonies of Prelacy Schools continue under the
auspices of the Prelate. The Prelate and or representatives attend the
ceremonies and convey their message and blessings to the students.
On Sunday, June 12th, the Prelate will attend the St. Mary's Church
Sunday School year-end ceremony which will be held at the "Krikor and Mariam
Karamanoukian" Youth Center.
At 4:00 p.m., the Prelate will attend the 12th grade graduation
ceremony of Ferrahian High School. The 5th and 8th grade ceremonies will
take place on Saturday, June 11th. On Saturday, June 4th, the Prelate
attended the A.R.S. Ashkhen Pilavjian Pre-School year-end ceremony. The
Kindergarten ceremony was held on Sunday, June 5th.
The 8th grade graduation ceremony of KZV School of San Francisco
will take place on Saturday, June 11th.
Also on June 11th is the Kindergarten graduation of Mesrobian
school. The Prelate will attend the 5th, 8th, and 12th grade graduations
which will be held on Saturday, June 18th.
On Saturday, June 18th, the year-end ceremonies of Tavlian and
Tufenkian Pre-Schools will also take place.
On Wednesday, June 22nd, the Prelate will attend the 6th and 8th
grade graduations of Chamlian School, and on Sunday, June 26th, the 12th
grade graduation of Rose and Alex Pilibos School.
On Sunday, June 5th, the Prelate attended the Kindergarten ceremony
of A.G. Minassian School. The 6th grade graduation took place on Wednesday,
June 8th.
Davidian and Mariamian Educational Foundation graduations also
continue, which the Prelate or representatives attend.
The main commencement ceremony of the foundation will take place on
Saturday, June 18th, at the Glendale Pacific Community Center. H.E.
Archbishop Yeprem Tabakian will attend and convey the Prelate's blessings.
PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER GRAND OPENING OF THE NEW PASADENA ARMENIAN CENTER
The Grand Opening and Donor Wall Unveiling of the new Pasadena
Armenian Center will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, June 12th.
The Prelate will preside over the ribbon-cutting ceremony and convey
his blessings on this occasion. Very Rev. Fr. Barthev Gulumian and Rev. Fr.
Khoren Babochian will accompany the Prelate.

"FRIENDS OF MOTHERLAND ARMENIA" RECEPTION
On the evening of Thursday, June 9th, a reception was held at the
site of the future Armenian Consulate organized by the Steering Committee of
the "Friends of Motherland Armenia" organization, in cooperation with the
Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia.
The "Friends of Motherland Armenia was formed with the goal of
creating a center, provisionally called "Armenian Home", that will serve as
the headquarters of the Consulate General of Armenia. Plans regarding the
project were presented at the reception.
The Prelate, accompanied by Rev. Fr. Vazken Atmajian, attended the
reception and conveyed his blessings and well wishes on this occasion.
