Ambassador: Russia unconditionally recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity

Russia unconditionally recognizes the territorial integrity of
Azerbaijan and this is a key moment, which is reassures and morally
supports, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said
in his speech at the expert seminar on "The Republic of Azerbaijan: 20
years of independence".The ambassador also mentioned the high level of
bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to Bulbuloglu, Russia and Azerbaijan develop contacts at all
levels of economic and political spheres, in safety issues."Our
relationship has entered a new level, especially after a final
decision on the borders," he said.He said Azerbaijan is currently one
of the most dynamically developing countries of the former Soviet
Union.
The origins of the success of modern Azerbaijan were laid in the era
of Azerbaijan's National Leader Heydar Aliyev, a politician who
managed to suggest the country and society an actual agenda and build
an effective multi-vector foreign policy that is still one of the key
factors of stabile and sustainable development of the Republic of
Azerbaijan, he said.The ambassador also mentioned the peace efforts of
Moscow aimed at resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"We are peaceful, but we have to solve the protracted conflict and
return to the cohabitation of the two communities on the territory of
Karabakh. All attempts to transform the Karabakh conflict into an
inter-ethnic conflict have nothing common with reality, they seek to
disguise the real essence of the matter," he said.The
Information-Analytical Center of Moscow State University with the
assistance of the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia holds the expert
seminar on "The Republic of Azerbaijan: 20 years of independence" on
Friday.
The participants discuss a wide range of issues, reflecting the new
history of Azerbaijan in the regional and global linkages.The expert
seminar is attended by representatives of the expert community,
academics and journalists from Russia and Azerbaijan.
