Out of the 385 school principals and 131 acting principals who took
the recent qualifying examination conducted by the Ministry of
Education and Science, 325 principals and 98 acting principals passed.
Many had protested the new qualifications exam, arguing that testing
alone is not an acceptable standard on which to base ones
qualifications.
