ARM Defense Minister Received the EU Delegation

On June 10, ARM Defense Minister received the head of the EU European
External Action Service (EEAS) department for relations with the
western Balkans, Eastern Partnership and Russia Miroslav Lajcak.
They discussed issues concerning Armenia-EU cooperation in the defense field.
Emphasizing the development of the cooperation with EU Seyran Ohanyan
stated that ARM Defense Policy corresponds to the values of the newly
established ambitious policy of the European Neighborhood. He also
said that NKR Defense Army has also chosen the path of reforms and the
best paradigms of it have been the practical mechanisms of the
democratic and civilian control of the armed forces since the
independence.
Upon the request of the guest the minister presented the situation at
the contact line of Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces.
