The framework of Vahram Atanesyan's expectations from the forthcoming
presidential meeting in Kazan is large. The Chairman of the NKR
National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Relations says he
expects anything ranging from progress to failure.
The publication of similar statements by the Foreign Ministries of
Armenia and Azerbaijan after the meeting of the Foreign Ministers
of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan in Moscow allows him to conclude
that certain agreements have been reached and a draft document will
be presented to the Presidents in Kazan.
"Azerbaijan may agree to continue the negotiations, refusing from
the use of force or the threat of force. I think it is one of the
most important factors at this point," Vahram Atanesyan said adding
that "there is an opportunity to struggle more actively for de facto
recognition of Nagorno Karabakh's status."
