Armenia's cabinet held Tuesday a session of the board council
of the Millennium Challenges Corporation Armenia non-governmental
organization, headed by the chief of the board council, Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan.
The session discussed and approved the 20th allocation application
under which the MCC-Armenia expects to receive from the Millennium
Challenges Corporation $29,012,885 for July-September.
$28,222,698 of this sum will be used for Irrigated Agriculture
sub-program, and the rest will be used for monitoring, supervision
and assessment-related activities.
Factual costs and those envisaged under the current quarter, including
June, make a total of $138,200,941.
The 20th allocation application is the penultimate one of the
MCC-Armenia. The last allocation application (21st) will be presented
to the MCC in September and will include costs related to the closing
of the program.
Once the above-mentioned costs are made, the total value of the
MCC-Armenia will make $176,491,028.
