PanARMENIAN.Net - Non-recognition of Nagorno Karabakh has both negative
and positive consequences, President of the Artsakh Republic said.
"The negative aspect is that out country is deprived of the possibility
to receive assistance from various international organization. It
certainly affects our economy. However, on the other hand, we count
on our own strength and use our resources more rationally," Bako
Sahakyan said in an interview with Military Diplomat magazine.
"With its economic development rate, Artsakh is ahead of many
recognized states, including Azerbaijan," he emphasized, adding that
despite the global economic crisis, the republic's GDP exceeded 13%
in 2009 and went down to 9.1% in 2010.
