    ARMENIA OCCUPIES 56TH PLACE BY THE COST OF MORTGAGE LOANS AMONG 60 COUNTRIES

    YEREVAN. June 14. /ARKA/. According to the data of leading Russian
    operator in the market of housing and commercial real estate "Penny
    Lane Realty" Armenia occupies 56th place in the rating of mortgage
    loans with annual percent rate of 15.9% among 60 countries.

    In calculation of total cost of the credit the data published by
    European Mortgage Federation. Quarterly Review of European Mortgage
    Markets, 2010), international banks ad mortgage brokers were used.

    According to the rating, monthly payment of mortgage loan is 1 322
    euro, overpayment by percents - 195 060 euro and total cost of the
    credit is 317 310 euro 260%. The results of the study of international
    market of mortgage crediting showed that most of all such countries as
    Denmark where average percent rate is 1.36% (monthly payment 566 euro,
    overpayment by percents - 16 684 euro, total cost of the credit - 138
    935 euro or 114% ), Sweden - from 2.23% (monthly payment - 596 euro,
    overpayment by percents - 20 733 euro, total cost of the credit -
    142 983 euro or 117% ) and Spain - from 2.44% (monthly payment -
    628 euro, overpayment by percents - 28 584 euro, total cost of the
    credit - 150 834 euro or 1237%) occupying the first, second and third
    places in the rating, most of all think about their citizens.

    Turkey is in 36th place with average percent rate of 6.8% and monthly
    payment of 857 euro, Russia - 47th place (11.5% and 1 097 euro),
    Uzbekistan - 54th place (14.6% and 1 256 euro), and Kazakhstan -
    55th place (15.5% and 1 302 euro).

    According to the report, such countries as the Ukraine (16.3% and 1
    343 euro), Azerbaijan (16.9% and 1 373 euro), Argentine (18% and 1
    429 euro) and Turkmenistan (18% and 1 429 euro) close the rating table.
