YEREVAN. - Armenian National Academy of Sciences (NAS) convened a
press conference on the occasion of June 15 being announced the day
of voicing of scientific issues.
NAS President Radik Martirsosyan mentioned that more than half of
scientific achievements are the outcomes of international cooperation
projects.
According to him annual $23 million is allocated for the field of
science in Armenia, while in Azerbaijan the figure amounts to $114
million.
"And despite this UNESCO statistical data says that Armenia has
544 scientific points against 292 points of Azerbaijan,' said the
academician.
