Barbed wires installed in Armenian forests are dangerous - environmentalists

YEREVAN. - There are barbed wires in some places in the forests of the
Lori region of Armenia, chairman of `HAYANTAR' SNCO Martun Matevosyan
informed.
He told Ekolur that there are fenced areas that prevent wild animals
from entering. Also, people living near the forest usually have free
entrance and participate in the preservation of the forests in the
world, whereas people are hired as manpower in Armenia. One of the
most important issues that people are worried about is that tree
cutting areas are choose without letting them known. As a result,
business explores the forest and pays no attention that the forest
belongs to everyone.
