Armenian diaspora provides 60-70% of country's GDP
Armenian communities abroad have a share of 60-70% of the country's
GDP, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said, ARKA reports.
The PM noted that finances come in the forms of direct foreign
investments and private funds.
Armenian investments dropped by 19.5% in January-March 2011 compared
with the same period in 2010, reaching $130.6 million.
France invested $37.7 million, Russia - $23 million, UK - $21.7
million.They had shares of 28.9%, 17.6% and 16.6% respectively in
total direct foreign investment in Armenia.
