ARMENIAN PRESIDENT WANTS TO SEE HIGH LEVEL STATE UNIVERSITY

YEREVAN.- Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan chaired the meeting of
the Yerevan State University (YSU) board on Tuesday.
One of the key issues discussed during the meeting was election of
University's chancellor, presidential press service informed Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
Aram Simonyan was elected chancellor by 60 to seven with two
abstentions.
Serzh Sargsyan, who also chairs YSU board, congratulated re-elected
chancellor expressing hope the university will have achievements
within the next five years.
"We all want to see a high level Armenian state university. We are
confident that all the board members will do their utmost to reach
our goal," said President Sargsyan.
