ABSENCE OF SEAS MAKES ARMENIANS TRAVEL ABROAD- ARMENIAN OFFICIAL

It is the absence of seas that makes most Armenians travel abroad
for their summer rest, says an Armenian official.
"All people want to travel. The desire go abroad doesn't mean at
all the conditions in their country are so bad," Mekhak Apresyan the
head of the Tourism Department at the Ministry of Economy ,said on
Wednesday. "It is a different matter that we have declared internal
tourism a priority in our economic development policy. To achieve
that it is necessary to solve certain problems."
Apresyan said that the people who want to spend their summer at
the seaside cannot satisfy their desire in Armenia. He noted in the
meantime by travelling abroad they could spend just as much as having
a summer rest in Armenia.
