FRENCH ARCHEOLOGICAL EXCAVATION GROUP TO GIVE LECTURE AT EREBUNI MUSEUM

The Armenian-French archeological excavation group carrying out
excavations in the citadel of Erebuni historic cultural reserve-museum
will give lectures June 28-29 dedicated to the studies of archeological
heritage in France, the issues of preservation, etc.
Speaking to Armenpress, head of the French excavation group Stephan
Dechamp said during two days they will present three lectures
at Erebuni museum on preventive archeology in Europe and France,
restoration of archeological heritage, preservation, chronology, etc.
"The lectures are of familiarizing and studying nature, intended
for all the interested people. I hope they will be effective and the
interest in it will be great", Dechamp said.
Speaking about excavations in the "Erebuni" reserve-museum during the
recent years he said that the carried out works were quite effective
and the joint excavations together with Armenian specialists gave
opportunity to make new discoveries.
