Resolving the grave social situation by Middle East methods is
fraught with grave consequences for a country "at war", Armenian MP
Viktor Dallakyan stated in the Armenian National Assembly on March 1,
referring to the participants of the ANC-launched rally in Yerevan.
According to him, Armenia may plunge into chaos caused by external
forces in this case of developments of events. "Those who try to
solve political tasks through social discontent of the population,
should realize the situation may slip out of control, slide into
chaos and result in defeat of these forces," Dallakyan noted.
Meanwhile, he stressed democratization of Armenia is a key to Karabakh
conflict resolution. "The authorities should not abuse threat of
war in resolving problems, while the opposition-social problems to
achieve their goals," the parliamentarian emphasized.

elections. According to him, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan may
