ARMENIAN COMMUNITY TO AUSTRIA DEMANDS CONDEMNATION OF SUMGAIT MASSACRES

Armenian Community in Austria guided by Armenian student and youth
union held a protest action in Vienna demanding from the international
community to condemn Armenian massacres in Sumgait fulfilled by
Azerbaijan.
The protesters prepared special leaflets in German and English
and spread them among the passers-by to inform about the vandal
massacres against Armenians fulfilled in Sumgait, Baku and Kirovabad,
state projects to mask the crimes and about anti-Armenian propaganda
developing in Azerbaijan.
Armenian protesters carried posters with slogans "World should
condemn Armenian massacres committed by Azerbaijani", "We condemn
ethnic cleansing of Armenians in Azerbaijani cities", etc.
The representatives of Armenian Apostolic Church in Vienna and the
members of Mkhitaryan Union also participated in protest.
