Yerkir: Ara Abrahamyan suffered losses in Libya

The paper claims it has learned that Ara Abrahamyan, the president of
the Union of Armenians of Russia, has suffered large financial losses
against the backdrop of the political unrest in Libya.
According to the paper, the point is that upon the advice of top
Russian official Abrahamyan made rather serious investments in Libya's
oil sector.
It also says that Abrahamyan maintained close ties with the Libyan
President Col. Muammar Gaddafi and was unofficially representing his
sponsor's interests in Libya.
Further, the paper mentions that its sources are silent about the
exact amount of the loss Abrahamyan incurred, adding that he is
