The paper says a group of Armenian subscribers of Facebook disseminated
yesterday a statement saying that the ODIHR/OSCE office will host
Friday the screening of a film titled "A Force More Powerful ".
It further quotes the statement posted on the social networking
website.
"The world has seen and continues seeing revolutions. Why don't we
gather together to discuss what to do to succeed," it says.
"The most important and least known stories of the 20th century
are will be screened to demonstrate how non-violent force gets over
pressure and tyranny (South Africa's struggle against the apartheid
or the Solidarnost movement in Poland). The film which lasts an hour
will be followed by a discussion on the methods of revolution. Many
on Facebook believe that the participants will decide on the most
appropriate form of revolution for Armenia," the paper quotes the
authors of the statement as saying.
