During recent years, according to the formed tradition, on the
occasion of the International Women's Day, March 8, RA NA Speaker
Hovik Abrahamyan congratulated the women deputies.
The Head of Armenia's legislative power warmly congratulated the
women and wished them and their families good health, happiness,
love and productive activity.
Mr Abrahamyan emphasized the women deputies' role in the law-making
work of the Armenian Parliament, their significant contribution in
the development of our country. It was noted that the Armenian woman
had been and remains the inextinguishable light, support and basic
pillar of the family and hearth. The NA Speaker highly assessed the
Armenian woman's role in keeping the Armenian identity and bringing
up the generations in Armenian way.
The women deputies thanked for warm words, assessment of their work
and congratulation.
The NA Speaker gave beautiful bouquets, which were harmonious with
the spring holiday.
