ELECTRONIC SYSTEM OF RECEPTION OF LICENSE APPLICATIONS INTRODUCED

YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS: The works on designing an electronic
system of reception of license applications have wrapped up. Head
of the staff of the Armenian government Davit Sargsyan said today
at a meeting with journalists that hereafter through the "e-gov.com"
website the wishers can apply for getting this or that kind of license
of different departments in Armenia.
"The wishers can submit the applications through the network, follow
its process and get that license. There are the first applicants
particularly for getting license in the sphere of urban development. I
think this innovation will be a good tool for our citizens and will
have a positive influence on improvement of business environment," Mr.
Sargsyan said.
According to him, the introduction of the electronic management system
into state bodies is one of the priorities of the government. "The
introduction of this system allows to make the activity of the
government transparent for society, and the electronic services ensure
reduction of contacts between the bureaucrat and citizen, bureaucrat
and business circles," the head of the governmental staff said.
