The paper claims that Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan not only has a
Bentley car but also a combat pistol which he keeps in his safe.
According to the paper, the pistol was once given to him as a present
by a high-ranking Armenian official. This, the paper, continues, sheds
some light on the general moral-psychological situation in Armenia.
The paper comments that the only issue that raises concerns is not the
fact that Archbishop Kchoyan was given that present, but that he
accepted it.
Further, it says that it is quite luckiness that so far no saunas have
been found in the cellar of Archbishop's official residence, as well
cells to punish those who have said something wrong.
`It is all right with the rest: a car costing a couple of hundred
dollars, a heavy necklace, his own bust ... It is interesting did police
provide his bodyguard with any uniform and guns during 1 March 2008
