PRESIDENT OF LITHUANIA TO VISIT ARMENIA, GEORGIA AND AZERBAIJAN

President of Lithuania Dalia GrybauskaitÄ- will visit the South
Caucasus countries this week as head of the OSCE chairing state
to meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Georgian President
Mikheil Saakashvili and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Lithuanian
President's Press Service reports.
Progress in finding a solution to protracted conflicts is key priority
of the Lithuanian OSCE Chairmanship. During her visit to the South
Caucasus countries, President GrybauskaitÄ- will urge their leaders
to be more open as they seek to resolve the existing disputes.
"Only a peaceful solution reached through constructive negotiations
with both sides demonstrating strong political will and resolve
to find a mutually acceptable way out of the situation can ensure
long-term stability and peace," the President said.
Among the other issues to be discussed at the meetings with the three
South Caucasian presidents will be bilateral relations, economic and
cultural cooperation, and projects of cooperation with the European
Union.
