PRIME MINISTER VISITS CAPITAL ANI FOUNDATION 1050TH ANNIVERSARY DEDICATED EXHIBITION

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited the exhibition dedicated to
the 1050th anniversary of the foundation of historical Ani capital
of Armenia, hosted by Ararat patriarchal diocese and the World Union
of Armenian Painters.
Accompanied by the vicar of Ararat patriarchal diocese, the head
of government toured the exposition getting acquainted the exhibits
on display.
The exposition features 72 paintings by 26 Armenian artists, as well
as photographer Zaven Sargsyan's works, all of which are devoted to
historical capital Ani.
The aforementioned works of art cover the period of March - April,
2010 when the artists worked at the ruined site of Ani capital.
