Upper Lars checkpoint lifts all restrictions

Kazbegi-Upper Lars check point on the Russo-Georgian border is lifting
all restrictions on trucks and passenger vehicles as of May 7.
Armenia's Ministry of Transport and Communication said it was notified
about the lifting of those restrictions by the Georgian traffic
police.
Previously, due to seasonal weather conditions, trucks capable of
carrying loads more than ten tones and passenger vehicles capable of
carrying more than 30 passengers were not allowed to pass the
checkpoint over safety reasons.
The checkpoint will be operational by systematically shifting to
one-sided traffic depending on the number of vehicles on the both
sides.
