Azg: Open letter to Armenia's president

The paper has published an open letter by Sergei Hambardzumyan, an
Armenian academician, addressed to President Serzh Sargsyan.
In the letter Hambardzumyan urges the president to instruct the
relevant bodies to immediately release all those sentenced over the
1-2 March 2008 post-election unrest, regardless the length of their
punishment.
`I am sure that your initiative which is of high political
significance will be perceived with satisfaction by the common-sensed
public of the country and will raise the county's image in the
civilized world,' read the letter in part.
