Member of Sardarapat movement Zhirayr Sefilyan said that the Armenian
side not only failed to inhabit the liberated territories of Karabakh,
but also to prevent emigration from Armenia.
`Over 30,000 people lived in Shushi in 1980s, while currently there
are less than 3,000 residents,' Sefilyan told a press conference in
Yerevan.
He called on the nation to unite and solve the pressing problems. `It
is not late to improve the situation. During the Karabakh war, nobody
thought we can reach Arax,' he said.
