It's common knowledge that the volume of gas consumption has reduced
20% as a result of rise of gas price. To what extent has this affected
the illegal forest cutting?
Inspections are being carried our in all forest areas and the picture
will become clear in a month,' Director of `Hayantar' state
non-commercial organization Martun Matevosyan told reporters today.
According to him, the level of tree-cutting tends to increase as a
result of rise of gas price.
