Levon Ter-Petrosyan visits jailed editor

Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Armenia's first president and the leader of the
Armenian National Congress (ANC) , has visited the jailed
editor-in-chief of the Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper, Nikol Pashinyan.
Pashinyan, who was arrested following the March 2008 political turmoil
in Yerevan, is now serving time at the Artik Penitentiary.
The ANC press service reported that later Ter-Petroysan had meetings
and discussions with activists of other political parties represented
in the opposition alliance.
Yesterday, the ANC leader visited Sasun Mikaelyan, another political
prisoner who is now receiving treatment at a hospital for inmates.
