President Serzh Sargsyan received the First Deputy Foreign Minister of
Japan, Hisashi Tokunaga, President's Press Office reported.
President Sargsyan extended condolences on the earthquake that hit
Japan on March 11 and resulted in a number of human losses and
destructions.
President Sargsyan voiced hope that in this hard period for Japan, the
efforts towards intensification of bilateral cooperation would
continue.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Japan noted, in turn, that despite hard
times, his county was resolute to continue its assistance programs.
Hisashi Tokunaga expressed confidence that the meetings and
discussions in the framework of his first visit to Armenia would
contribute to the further reinforcement of bilateral cooperation.
