Newspaper: Deputy Permanent Representative at U.S. Mission to NATO may
be appointed new U.S. Ambassador to Armenia

Deputy Permanent Representative at the U.S. Mission to NATO in
Brussels John Heffern may become a new U.S. Ambassador to Armenian,
Yerevan-based Zhamanak newspaper writes referring to its own sources.
J. Heffern worked long years in Eastern Asia, particularly, Malaysia,
Japan, China and Indonesia.
To recall, Ambassador Marie L. Yovanovitch will complete her
three-year mission as U.S. Ambassador to Armenia this June,
press-secretary of U.S. Embassy in Armenia, Taguhi Jahukyan told
Arminfo.
"She will return to Washington D.C. to take up her new duties as
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Northern and Central Europe at the
Department of State", - she added.
