Azerbaijan's defense ministry campaign office continues to spread
news, as if the contact zone of the Karabakh side regularly violates
ceasefire. Does this information coincide with the reality and what's
Baku's aim?
Head of the press and campaign department of the Defense army Senor
Hasratyan informs that the number ceasefire violations along the
contact line of Karabakh-Azerbaijan had grown. Who initiates those
violent actions and what sort of forces and measures are taken during
that is the other side of the question?
According to operative data of the Defense army, only during the last
year ceasefire violations along the contact line was more than 950
times, during which over 6500 shots were released.
By the way, the official Baku has announced for many times that they
are training snipers very intensively and especially for that reason
they acquire amours and uniforms from Russia and Turkey.
It is no secret that there are many trained snipers along the front
line of Azerbaijan who are paid by the country.
Proves are the losses we had during April 28-29, which proved once
more that Azerbaijani side is akin not only to ignore the agreement
over peaceful resolution of the conflict, but also to spread news
that have nothing in common with the reality.
Turning to the murder of April 29, the press speaker of the Defense
ministry of Azerbaijan announced that the news spread by the Armenian
side is another forgery. More than that, colonel-general Sabiroghlu
used his wide imagination and said that "It is not news for anyone
that people of the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh hate each
other. According to our information, the incident that took place on
April 29 was the result of that hatred. The soldier that was citizen
of the RA shot another two soldiers, citizens of NKR".
According to S. Hasratyan, preachers our neighboring country must
understand that Armenians cannot be enemy to each other.
Problems can have other nations that live in the territory of a land
that is called Azerbaijan, that not only lose their identity by living
under the official Baku, but also become physically eliminated as
result interpersonal communications of the Azerbaijani army.
During 4 months of 2011 the armed forces of Azerbaijan have killed
17 soldiers of other nations.
During past 4 months the opponent has violated the ceasefire over 3200
times and as a result we had 5 dead and 4 victims. During the same
period of time, according to Azerbaijani information, the Armenian
side has violated the ceasefire over 150 times.
According to the same source, during the current year, Azerbaijani army
has suffered 51 victims and 29 injuries, whereas 40% was the result
of ceasefire violation. If we take this data as basic information,
it is obvious that the opponent has violated 20 times more.
"How much does this information meet the reality, is hard to say,
however the fact is that the Armenian side has always given adequate
answer to every single shot and will carry on with the same spirit",
says head of press and campaign department of the Defense army Senor
Hasratyan.
