YOUTH PARLIAMENT TO OPERATE FROM LATE MAY

Armenia's Youth Parliament will finally be formed and start functioning
from late May, head of the NA's Education, Science, Culture and Youth
Affairs Standing Committee Artak Davtyan said at a news conference
today, adding that the initiative of creation of the youth parliament
belongs to the chairman of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan.
According to Davtyan, the Youth Parliament will become NA advisory
body, the decisions of the institution will not have obligatory force
but will be taken into consideration by the senior partners.
The structure of the Youth Parliament is like the NA's. The main goal
is to form new political culture in the country, ensure participation
of active young people in adopting decisions.
