TONDO RENCO IS READY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEEPENING OF THE ARMENIAN-ITALIAN RELATIONS

(Noyan Tapan - 11.05.2011) The mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan
met the delegation of Friuli Venice Julia region of Italy in
Yerevan and the Ambassador of Italy to RA Bruno Skapini. Karen
Karapetyan, introducing the policy carried out in the field of the
urban economy management, mentioned those directions which may be
of business interest for investments. By appreciating the Italian
urban constructing culture the mayor suggested to discuss the project
of forming a joint centre for architectural design, as well as to
consider the mechanisms for mutually beneficial cooperation in the
fields of health, garbage collection, landscape gardening and in other
fields of urban economy management. "We are ready to discuss concrete
projects and exchange ideas on work during your visit", said the mayor.
The president of the Region Tondo Renco, speaking about the
Armenian-Italian relations formed as a result of years, was ready
to strengthen and deepen the cooperation in the fields of mutually
beneficial interest.
"During these days we will look through all the possibilities of the
cooperation, and comparing with the ideas of Italian businessmen, we
will get a good result in dialogue", said the head of the delegation.
